Star performers
CBR Brave: David Dunwoodie
After topping the Australian scorers in the AIHL last season, David Dunwoodie has brought his great form down to Canberra. Since joining the Brave, Dunwwodie might not be putting as many in the back of the net but he is still contributing strongly as the leading Aussie scorer for the Brave, and hitting double figures in assists this season as well as scoring at better than a point per game.
 
Sydney Ice Dogs: Daniel Pataky
While his team may not be setting the competition on fire, Daniel Pataky has proven himself to be a player to watch. The 19-year old defencemen is clearly in the Ice Dogs reckoning for years to come, having been handed the “A” for the team in the pre-season Wilson Cup tournament as well as several games throughout the regular season. After scoring his first goal last week against the North Stars, the youngster has 3 points in 13 games from the blue line in his rookie season.
