The Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Social Media Manager to join our volunteer team. We need your help developing creative ideas to expand our social media presence and engage fans online.
Summary of the role:
Day-to-day you will be responsible for management, publishing and conversation for the AIHL on a variety of social networks and online communities; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. You’re also the voice of our passionate super fans, providing community feedback and recommendations to the AIHL and teams.
You will be responsible for content planning and execution toward a regular schedule, as well as input into planning and strategy for incoming campaigns. You will need a way with words and ideally have basic skills for creating and editing visual content. You will be supported by a talented team of designers and video editors.

About the AIHL
Now in our sixteenth season, the AIHL has established itself as a truly national competition consisting of eight teams. Spread across the country, they include Adelaide Adrenaline, CBR Brave, Melbourne Ice, Melbourne Mustangs, Newcastle North Stars, Sydney Bears, Sydney Ice Dogs, and Perth Thunder. Teams feature local Australian athletes and up to 4 imports.
As the flagship league for ice hockey in Australia, the AIHL showcases 115 regular season and Finals series games annually from April through September.
The AIHL is a not for profit organisation run exclusively by volunteers.
