10th July Dogs @ Blue Tongues game cancelled
Sunday, July 10, 2011 - Submitted by Peter Lambert

The Sunday game between the Sydney Ice Dogs and hosts the Gold Coast Blue Tongues has been cancelled due to unsafe ice.

Referees were forced to call off the game after the ice surface was found to be unsafe.

Both teams were unanimous in their support for these actions.

The AIHL will determine the fate of the game's results.

The AIHL wishes to express our apologies to fans who may have travelled some distance today to see the game, and for any others inconvenienced.
